Meet Dr. Duaa Turani – Consultant Specialist in Restorative Dentistry

We are delighted to introduce Dr. Duaa Turani, a highly experienced Consultant in Restorative Dentistry, part of the team here at Aromaden Clinic.

With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Turani is a specialist in Restorative Dentistry, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. She completed a rigorous five-year full-time training program as a Specialty Registrar in Restorative Dentistry at Eastman Dental Hospital in London, where she gained advanced skills in Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Periodontics. Her dedication to excellence was recognized with a Fellowship in the Specialty of Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2022.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Turani has pursued an academic path, earning a master’s degree in Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics from the University of Edinburgh, where she was awarded a distinction in 2015. She also holds Membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, obtained in 2016.

Dr. Turani currently works as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at St Richard’s Hospital, where she leads multidisciplinary care for patients with complex dental needs, including those with hypodontia, cleft lip and palate, and head and neck cancer. Her expertise lies in providing comprehensive oral rehabilitation for high-priority groups, ensuring patients receive the highest standards of care. She is also deeply involved in training dental core trainees and has a wealth of experience teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

An avid researcher, Dr. Turani has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at national and international dental conferences.

Known for her conservative, modern, and comprehensive approach to dentistry, Dr. Turani prioritizes delivering high-quality care with compassion and empathy, ensuring that her patients feel supported every step of the way.

Her main areas of interest include implantology, cosmetic dentistry, and periodontics, with a particular passion for transforming her patients’ smiles into confident, beautiful ones.

When she’s not helping patients achieve their best smiles, Dr. Turani enjoys reading, swimming, cycling, and spending quality time with her family.
