Temporary Dermal Fillers - collagen replacement therapy using dermal fillers such as Restylane is a popular treatment for wrinkles and facial lines. The procedure helps to 'fill out' and smooth away troublesome nose to mouth grooves, forehead lines, frown furrows, lipstick lines, acne pits and crows feet. Collagen treatment is also effective for augmenting narrow lips.
Prior to the treatment, a mild anaesthetic is applied in the area and the dermal filler is then injected into the wrinkle. A small amount of redness may occur around the treatment area but this only lasts for a few hours.
These temporary dermal fillers can last from 4-12 months depending on your age, skin type, lifestyle and muscle activity.

Thermaclinic uses a form of energy called Radiofrequency(RF). RF is applied to the skin via a bipolar applicator to gently heat the skin, promoting accelerated collagen production and contraction of collagen fibres to restructure and tighten the skin.
Generally a course of 6-8 treatments are recommended at weekly intervals. Immediately after treatment, the contraction of collagen fibres improves skin elasticity and the skin may appear firmer. However, the full benefits can generally be seen 1-2 months after a series of treatments.
