Dental Technology
Advanced technology and its use means patient care
We
are one of the UK’s most technologically advanced practices. We feel it
is essential for patient comfort, improved treatment delivery and an
ability to offer a complete range of cosmetic treatments.
Digital radiography exposes the patient to less radiation than conventional methods and causes less of a gag reflex.
- CEREC
machine means that beautiful, strong all porcelain crowns and inlays
can be produced and fitted in one visit to the practice. Also no
impressions are needed which is fantastic news to many people!!
- Hard
tissue lasers are used for many procedure including fillings without
the use of the high speed drill, bone re-contouring in smile design and
sterilisation during root treatments.
- Soft tissue lasers are used for gum re-contouring thus creating a more pleasing smile line.
- Cosmetic dental imaging allows a patient to see the predicted, final result before work begins.
- Intra-oral
cameras allow a more in depth analysis of areas of the mouth and
increase patients understanding of diagnosis and treatment.
- Air
Flow is a procedure used to give an extra clean to the surface of the
tooth. It blasts sodium bicarbonate onto the tooth and removes
ingrained stubborn stains.
- Zoom Whitening System
enables super fast chairside whitening to be performed in just 45
minutes, although total appointment time is approximately 60-90 minutes.
