We believe strongly in prevention at Aromaden. By encouraging a good relationship with our hygienists we can reduce the onset of decay and maintain the gums at optimum health.
All new patients at Aromaden undergo an initial oral health screening procedure, which looks at the following monitors:
- current health of gum tissue
- the measurements of any periodontal pockets
- oral cancer screen
- a general over view of current dental health using
- the intra oral camera
The hygienists also thoroughly clean the teeth using hand instruments, the ultra sonic cleaner and air flow which takes off dark, stubborn stains, especially those caused by smoking and drinking red wine, tea and coffee.
They introduce any cleaning aids, which they think will enable you to maximise your home care routine and give you tips and bits of advice to help motivate and enthuse you. They will also show you using the intra oral camera problem areas or areas that are being missed.
